(773) 261-8340It depends on how much you are moving, how far, your dates, access at both homes and any extras like packing or crating. Long-distance moves are priced by the weight or volume of your shipment and the distance, so we survey your things in person or by video first. That gets you a real number in writing instead of a guess over the phone.
A binding quote, or binding estimate, is a written price for the items and services listed on it. You pay that price as long as the move matches what was quoted. If you add items or services, it is revised in writing before loading, so there is no surprise on moving day.
We are the carrier, not a broker. You work directly with the company that packs, loads, drives and delivers your things, with one move coordinator from your first call to final delivery.
Yes. Interstate movers must be registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Our U.S. DOT and MC numbers are on your written estimate, and you can check any mover on FMCSA's public lookup before you book.
Everything is wrapped and padded and the truck is loaded with straps so nothing shifts. For interstate moves you choose your protection level: Full Value Protection, or Released Value at 60 cents per pound per article. That is the mover's liability, not insurance, and we walk you through both before you sign.
We agree your pickup and delivery windows in writing before moving day, so you can plan around them. Your coordinator keeps you updated while your shipment is on the road.
Yes. We can pack your whole home or just the fragile rooms, crate art and antiques, and take apart and reassemble furniture. Whatever we pack, we bring the boxes, paper and padding for, and it is all listed in your quote.
The quote itself is free. Any deposit, the payment methods we accept and when the balance is due are written in your estimate before you book, so you know all of it before you sign anything.
Yes. Financing options are available, subject to approval. Ask your move coordinator when you get your quote, and the options and their terms are explained before you sign anything.
